If you look for reviews of Blue Marble University on the internet, you will likely not find very much. Some applicants ask if we can supply some students’ contact information. We have always felt that we did not want to use our current or former students to “sell” our programs to anyone else. If you cannot be convinced of the merits of our unique doctoral programs from our presentation on our websites, as well as our superior affordability, we do not think you will learn anything further from our former students. For those of you that thirst for some comments from students and feel you just need that additional comfort, we present you with the following unsolicited comments from some of our recent graduates. These kind words, though short, will pretty much give you everything you need to know by way of reviews of the educational programs at Blue Marble University and its included schools: Panama College of Cell Science; and Blue Marble University Medical School.

“Just a few words to say Hi and to thank you for all your help during the three years I was in the Panama College of Cell Science PhD program. I was able to authenticate my degree at the U.S. Department of State and also have the equivalency of my degree with California University, FCE [foreign education credentials evaluation service]. I’m planning to start a new research paper very soon. Once again, thanks a lot for everything…”

“To My Wonderful Friends at Blue Marble, Just wanted to thank you again for getting me through. I have committed myself in writing to visit my WordPress site one time per week and I am calling it WordPress Wednesdays. I have been inspired by this process and am grateful for the idea of keeping a journal… I literally caught my breath when I read “Dr. A…” as your salutation in the email you sent. Special thanks for comparing me to Alice in Wonderland but the truth is I was merely Gwen in BlueMarble land. I remember feeling stuck during the adventure and just like Alice I thought: “Would you tell me please which way I ought to go from here”. You always seemed to sense that this was my silent question and still always had the right thing to say: ‘Full steam ahead.’ We will stay in touch. Best Wishes Always…”

“When I decided to finish my doctorate through a virtual university, I did not know much about the way a virtual program works. I understood that most of the work would be done via the Internet. This was especially appealing to me because the work that I did could be done at my convenience in my home. It would also provide a versatile education that would be suited to me. I am so glad that I discovered Blue Marble University. This change in education is definitely an improvement over the traditional college education.”

“I just had my D.Sc. in Instructional Design and Technology evaluated as being equivalent to a United States Ed.D. degree, and I am delighted! The lessons I learned will be helpful to my current career regardless of future outcomes. I am very pleased with my education at Blue Marble University! Besides, I know PhDs from prestigious brick-and-mortar United States universities who could not find work in their fields, so nothing is certain in life regardless of our choices.
I previously had master’s degrees from two different accredited United States universities, and I am working under two state teaching certifications (special education and instructional technology). I chose a different path for my doctorate, knowing full well that it might not open as many doors as an accredited degree. I wanted a better balance between practical skills, theory, and research than I felt that I could get at typical American universities. My original idea was to go to a U.S. university then become a college professor, but I know too many out-of-work professors. I decided to take a different path. For me, this was a successful program and I am glad that I chose Blue Marble University.
Thank you, Blue Marble University! I already use much of what I learned with the students in my current job, and anything that helps me to be a better teacher is a good thing. The future is a big unknown, and I may or may not get any tangible benefits from this degree, but for the present, I am very pleased with Blue Marble University and the education that I received.
Blue Marble University will not be for everyone. Some jobs and further study opportunities require degrees from accredited universities. The fact is that I love teaching, and once I decided not to become a professor, I could explore options that better suited my interests. Sure, I sincerely hope that my degree will help me to find work after I retire from teaching, but I am aware that there are no guarantees in life.
My transcript evaluation clearly states: “JEANNE S. holds the U.S. equivalent of a DOCTOR OF EDUCATION IN INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEM DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY awarded by Regionally Accredited Universities in the United States,” but it took me three attempts. Some companies will not evaluate the degree as equivalent to a doctorate from an accredited U.S. university. Some employers and schools only accept evaluations from foreign transcript evaluation companies that they have approved. But if knowledge is what you are after, you can get it here.”

“[Blue Marble University presents] a lean and exceptionally realistic approach to education. For learners with family and professional lives looking for options in further education where time and money are in short supply, like myself, this is a great choice. Really, it was a joy for me to serendipitously find a school looking at education in such a fashion, and as I worked my way through the program, my respect for the school’s approach to further education only deepened.
I never did feel lost though, and knew clearly my purpose and path for each course, which gave me confidence and urged me forward. This was due to the promptness, clarity and thoughtfulness of instructor guidance and administrative staff communications. These expressed the high-degree of professional care infused within the school. This care was inspiring and it greatly took the edge off of solo virtual self-learning!
Blue Marble University’s China Program brought meaning, value and reward into my career and life up to and beyond expectation.”

“Hello Dr. Drake: I finished my last course, and I just wanted to say thank you for your time and patience throughout the program. This program was outstanding and I learned so much. The Stem Cell term and hospital management areas were most helpful and peaked my interest to pursue these areas possibly. The mentorship and support in this program is fantastic.
In this age of coronavirus I am seeing how online education may set a new paradigm in its efficacy and that it is comparable to that of brick and mortar. Your medical doctorate program at BMU is engaging, challenging and transformative. Best regards.”

Dear Dr. Drake- I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to create this e-book. I am beyond excited. Working together with you has been a wonderful experience and I sincerely thank you for all of your help and support.
This has been a truly wonderful experience!!!!!! You are a true visionary in higher education. When I read your “Message from the Founder”, I knew that I was in the right place. Education is changing quickly, and your educational vision and philosophy will lead the way to a new revolution in education. I am honored to know you and to be a small part of your revolution. Words cannot express how grateful I am that I discovered you and Blue Marble University.
Also…good news, I had my coursework and dissertation evaluated by a 30 year old evaluation company, which found my PhD as equivalent to an accredited University in the U.S. Here is the citation:
“The work at Blue Marble University can be considered in subject matter, level and pursued to a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Digital Media and Communications with emphasis in CyberSecurity granted by an accredited University in the United States”
I will be forever grateful to you for the encouragement, support and inspiration.
