This is a fast paced all-year round program with no breaks and is intended as a full time program. It is a full 120 US credit program, comprised of 60 credits General Education courses, followed by 60 credits of medically related courses in the major. It may not have any meaning in Canada, but our programs are deemed equivalent to degrees from regionally accredited US colleges and universities by our foreign education reviewer Cufce.org.
Please note that our BS in Medicine, while being an unusual bachelor level degree, will not lead to any licensing nor permit any participation in any medical career that requires licensing. Rather the degree opens avenues in the pharmaceutical industry, government and health insurance regulatory agencies, the medical insurance industry, clinic and nursing home administration, research, medical writing, and the medical devices industry.

Credits: 1 Blue Marble University Credit = 1 USA Semester Credit. Although registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica, we follow the USA Code of Federal Regulations requiring “one hour of classroom or direct faculty instruction [or 60 minutes of preparation in a correspondence course] and a minimum of two hours of out of class student work each week for approximately fifteen weeks for one semester or trimester hour of credit”, which translates to 15 hours of notational learning plus 30 hours of study. Each Term is 15 weeks. Blue Marble University operates all year round with no breaks.
Each term is 15 weeks, comparable to a standard US semester of 15 weeks. Consequently, each student can complete the equivalent of three 15-week terms per year.

Tuition Cost: $2950 USD/year with payment plan; $1200 USD intitial payment and 7 monthly payments of $250 USD thereafter. We charge annually and not by credits or time. Admission Requirements: Typically a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. However, Home Schooled and non-traditional students are welcome. Dual Enrollment permitted for qualified High School students, but completion of high school diploma is required prior to issuance of a Blue Marble University degree.
