From a graduate’s perspective:
1 Blue Marble University Credit = 1 USA Semester Credit. Although registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica, we follow the USA Code of Federal Regulations requiring “one hour of classroom or direct faculty instruction [or 60 minutes of preparation in a correspondence course] and a minimum of two hours of out of class student work each week for approximately fifteen weeks for one semester or trimester hour of credit”, which translates to 15 hours of notational learning plus 30 hours of study.
Each Term is 15 weeks. Blue Marble University operates all year round with no breaks. Each term is 15 weeks, comparable to a standard US semester of 15 weeks. Consequently, each student completes the equivalent of three 15-week terms per year.
Our Bachelor Degrees can be completed within 2 years, 8 months. Because we study all year round with no breaks, students complete the equivalent of 3 standard US 15-week semesters per year, and consequently can complete their programs earlier.
All Bachelor Degree programs are 120 credits, of which 60 credits are “General Education” credits; and 60 credits of courses related to a particular major.
Dual Enrollment permitted for qualified High School students
A “C” average in coursework is required to complete a Bachelor level program, per the following Table:

Engineering Without The Math
When we lightly refer to our program as “engineering without the math”, we do not mean no math!! We mean that advanced engineering mathematics will not be required. Typical business math, how to read corporate financial reports, and other relevant computational skills are covered.
After 4 years of development, we have settled upon what we feel to be the very best programs to offer to you in Industrial Technology. This program is designed for the person that wants to work in industry, or for federal and state regulatory agencies.
What is “Industrial Technology”?? From Wikipedia we have: Industrial Technology includes wide ranging subject matter, which is an amalgamation of industrial engineering and business topics with more focus on the practicality and management of technical systems and less focus on the actual engineering of those systems.
Graduates of our program are expected to find positions in major industries like food, water, oil, and global transportation; and to serve primarily in supervisory and administrative positions.

Starting and Managing a Small Business
This great business degree program was not designed by academics, but by people in the Real World. In addition to providing a great overall business foundation, with courses such as Business Law and Payroll Withholding Taxes, the student will learn entrepreneurship, how to start a business, how to buy and sell a business, how to read company financial reports, essential bookkeeping, basic tax preparation, types of business structures, and small business start-up funding. We even cover “crowdfunding” as a way to launch your idea. This course will train you to start, run and manage your own business….or help someone else manage theirs. Admission Requirements: Typically a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. However, Home Schooled and non-traditional students are welcome. Dual Enrollment permitted for qualified High School students, but completion of high school diploma is required prior to issuance of a Blue Marble University degree.
Requirements for Foreign Education
to be Deemed Equivalent to U.S.
Blue Marble University is organized in the Commonwealth of Dominica. Like all foreign education sought to be used in the US, foreign degrees are accepted if found to be “equivalent” to a US college by a foreign education credentials evaluator. In order to be considered “equivalent to a regionally accredited U.S. college or university”, our bachelor level programs must comprise 120 credits, of which 60 credits should be “General Education” credits. All Blue Marble University degrees have been to date found to be equivalent to a regionally accredited US college or university. We follow U.S. requirements in that one hour of classroom or direct faculty instruction and a minimum of two hours of out of class student work each week for approximately fifteen weeks for 1 hour of credit. So, for 1 credit, a student would be expected to spend 45 hours total time studying the course.
