Blue Marble University announced its new doctoral programs in Pharmaceutical Science. The new 3 year online PhD in Pharmaceutical Science is one of four related offerings:
Pharmaceutical Science Ph.D.
Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Ph.D.
Pharmaceutical Engineering Ph.D.
Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Ph.D.
Dr. Walter P. Drake, Director of Blue Marble University said in a press release that “these brand new pharmaceutical degree doctoral programs were designed based on current job offerings and are career break-out degrees that will yield terrific salaries for our graduates. The curricula for our 3 year online pharmaceutical science PhD’s are identical until the dissertation stage at which point the student will choose a topic that defines which of our PhD’s in pharmaceutical science will be awarded…either a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Clinical Research”.

Online Masters Degrees in pharmaceutical sciences are also offered. Fast track programs for high school students leading to a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science are also available.
Dr. Drake went on to say that for students interested in biological sciences or medical sciences, the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and stem cell biology are the only two fields worth pursuing. “Old fashioned biology programs are pretty dead in terms of end result careers. Stem cell biology is the “new biology’…even in the academia, that’s what institutions want. And in terms of biological and medical sciences, the ONLY field of study that makes sense and leads to high salaried jobs and mid 6 figure careers is in the pharmaceutical sciences”.

The pharmaceutical industry is modernizing. New delivery techniques such as transdermal and patch technology are being developed.
