 M.S. in Public Health; and D.Sc. in Public Health

Blue Marble University now offers our exciting new programs in Public Health: Our Masters Degree in Public Health; and our 3 year Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Public Health.

The Masters Degree (M.S.) with thesis is comprised of 36 credits plus dissertation, which amounts to 1 year of course work plus 1/2 year estimated for dissertation- 1 ½ year total.

The Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Public Health degree is 3 years (including dissertation).

Both programs are 100% online and asymmetric, meaning you don’t have to be on the internet at the same time as the instructor. Both programs draw from most of the following course topics: Biostatistics, epidemiology, health services administration, environmental health sciences, immunizations, control of infectious disease, fluoridation of drinking water, heart disease and strokes, some Covid-19 pandemic studies related primarily to equipment and planning, the unused/underutilized Covid-19 drugs, vaccines, independent study or Seminar, state vs federal responsibility.

As with all of our programs, tuition is $3200/year paid in advance each year; or $3450/year with payment plan. [The Masters Degree second year which is only 6 months and involves preparation and publication of a paper with our help is billed at $2950. ]

1. Master of Science in Public Health: One year of course work plus dissertation, comprising a total of 36 tri-mester credits plus dissertation. The creation and publication of a dissertation is expected to be completed within 6 months, which means that the total program continues for 1 1/2 years at an annual cost of $3450 USD per year with payment plan ($3200 USD per year advanced lump sum payment). The second year is billed at $2950 USD provided the student completes and publishes the dissertation (with our help) within 6 months; otherwise billed at the full annual amount of $3450 without proration for students who take longer than the 6 months for the dissertation requirement.

2. Doctor of Science in Public Health: Our usual 3 year doctoral program, this program encompasses 60 trimester credits of course work plus 12 trimester credits dissertation (72 trimester credits total). There is a little over 2 years of course work plus approximately 1 year estimated for completion and publication of the doctoral dissertation. The cost of the program is $3450 per year with payment plan ($3200 per year advanced lump sum payment).
